<p>According to legends of Buddha, the Chinese zodiac came about when Buddha hosted a feast, to which he invited all the animals of the realm. Twelve animals came, arriving in succession. As a honor for their attendance, Buddha decided to name one year after each one. Thus, the Chinese zodiac rotates in order through animals signs every twelve years. As each new year starts, by Western calendars on January 1, and by Eastern calendars on the Lunar New Year Day, the Year of the Honored Animal begins. It is believed that globally the year, and the people born under the animal sign of that year, display the characteristics of that animal. Tiger is the third animal in the original succession of Buddha's creature guests and the new Year of the Tiger is 2010.</p>

Sunday, February 28th, Full Moon, Sun conjunct Jupiter!  Happy Full Moon in Virgo/Sun in Pisces! The last day of February has 4 big aspects, and is the Full Moon in Virgo as well.   At 5AM, Mercury conjuncts Neptune in Aquarius to start the day on a note of spiritual and romantic rebirth, and we dream big, with love on our minds with many notes, letters, emails and phone calls being exchanged.

Our minds tune into the compassionate, and since Mercury rules news, and Neptune rules the ocean, we focus on all that results, like today's earthquake in Chile, and potential tsunamis in it's wake.
