Divination is a way of foretelling the future by interpretation of omens. Divination can be attempted by using paranormal or supernatural powers, too. Divination has been a phenomenon that has existed in many religions and cultures from ancient times, up to the present. It is often dismissed by the scientific community and disbelievers as mere superstition, and the advocates of divination believe there is plenty of evidence for its efficacy.

Psychometry is an ability of a person to tell the history of an object, by just touching it, through psychic means. The psychic ability of that person allows him to receive impressions from that object about the person who owns, or owned it, and about the experiences the person went through while he owned it.  Psychometry is the psychic ability of a person to ‘see’ things that are not normally visible to others. The impressions received by the psychometrist can be in the form of images, sounds, or even emotions, in addition to tastes and smells.

As in all forms of psychic abilities, in psychometry, too, the accuracy of the psychometrist may vary, and he may not be able to ‘read’ all objects at all times. When he does, he is able to feel what the person was like, what he experienced and did, and how he died, etc. The psychometrist can also feel the emotions of the person.

Telekinesis is the ability to move objects from one place to another through psychic power, and without any physical contact. Many believe that it is as inherent a quality we possess as walking, talking, and breathing, among other faculties, but neglect to take it further. To perform telekinesis, we need to learn this ability, which is a very natural occurrence. It is commonly known that telekinesis works through magnetic or electric fields, or through psychic energy.
